Andrew Weatherall - Live @ Six D.o.g.s., Athens

Για τον Andrew Weatherall - ως έναν εθισμένο με λαχτάρα για τη μουσική - "the kids must be alright", παρέχοντας τα ευρήματά του από διάφορες παραστάσεις τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες στα αυτιά των νέων.

Αυτή η τσάντα θησαυρού του μουσικού ταξιδιού του μέσα από το παρελθόν έχει γεμίσει καλά στην "εκκλησία" του six d.o.g.s., προσφέροντας στα παιδιάτο πάτωμα για να χορέψουν μέσα στο χρόνο.

Σε πολύ καλή διάθεση, με κίνητρο και με εμφανή δυσκολία να κρύψουν τον ενθουσιασμό τους για το βραδινό event, οι DJ των The Kids Are Alright ήταν απασχολημένοι με τη προθέρμανση - ενεργοποίηση του κοινού. Η μετάβαση από τον Blue Lagoon στον Weatherall έγινε τόσο ομαλά, ο διοργανωτής και DJ έκανε μια εξαιρετική δουλειά για να παραδώσει στο πλήθος τα μουσικά χέρια του Andrew, απ' όπου ο Weatherall παρέσειρε το πλήθος σε μια χορευτική και ταλαντευόμενη "πουτίγκα" σωμάτων.

Υπάρχει αυτό το ρητό: Αν τυχαίνει να είναι νεκρός, λαμβάνεις τα μηνύματα των νεκρών και εάν τυχαίνει να ζεις, λαμβάνεις το κύμα.

 

 

Ο ίδιος ο Weatherall απολάμβανε το αέρινο χορευτικό κύμα σαν ένα λουλούδι στον άνεμο. Όταν ο Weatherall μιλάει για τη μουσική, είναι ενθουσιασμένος με τη δυνατότητα της μουσικής για υπερβατικές εμπειρίες και το θεϊκά συναίσθηματα που προσφέρει. Δυστυχώς, η φυσική υπερβατικότητα σε κάθετη και οριζόντια κατεύθυνση έγινε πιο δύσκολη στο six d.o.g.s., καθώς ένα πλέγμα και ένα άτομο ασφαλείας τοποθετήθηκαν για να φιλοξενήσουν την VIP area, που δεν προορίζεται για μεσαίου μεγέθους σημαντικά άτομα.

Ούτως ή άλλως τα παιδιά διασκέδαζαν - είτε rare, medium ή well done! 

Εάν τυχαίνει να είστε εκεί γύρω, εξοικονομήστε λίγο ελεύθερο χρόνο σε 30 χρόνια: το 2048, όταν ο Weatherall (στα 85 τότε) θα μας φέρει στο παρελθόν το μελλοντικό μας μελλοντικό μέλλον και όταν εν τω μεταξύ το νεαρό μας ακανόνιστο θάρρος θα έχει μετασχημάτισε τα περιττά εμπόδια και σύνορα.

For Andrew Weatherall – as an addictive craver for music – the kids must be alright, providing his findings of various swings and blings from the last decades to the ears of the youngsters.

This treasure bag of his musical journey through the past he has well sneaked into the church of Six Dogs, offering the kids a floor to dance the time away.

Very good-mooded, motivated and obviously having difficulties to hide their excitement about this night-time event, the DJs of The Kids Are Alright were busy with the thermal activation. The transition from Blue Lagoon to Weatherall moved so smooth, the organizer and DJ did an excellent job transferring the crowd into Andrew’s musical arms, from where Weatherall heavenly levitated the crowd into an all dancing and swaying pudding of bodies.

There is this saying: If you happen to be dead, you receive the messages of the dead and if you happen to be alive, you are receiving the wave.

 

 

Weatherall himself was enjoying the wave dancing airy light like a flower in the wind. When Weatherall talks about music, he is enthusiastic about the music’s possibility for transcendent experiences and the divine feeling you can receive. Unfortunately, to physically be transcendented vertically and horizontally has become more difficult recently in Six dogs, as a mesh and a security person were mounted to host a VIP area, that is not meant for medium important people.

 

 

Anyways the kids had fun – either rare, medium or well done!

If you happen to be around, save some spare time in 30 years time: 2048, when Weatherall (turning 85 then) is going to bring us our past futures future, and when in the meanwhile our young misbehavioural courage has transformed some of the unnecessary barriers and borders.
